Getting Back to the Grandkids & Gardening

Neuropathy, also known as peripheral neuropathy, is a condition that affects the peripheral nerves, which are responsible for transmitting signals between the brain, spinal cord, and the rest of the body. It occurs when these nerves become damaged or dysfunctional. Neuropathy can result from various causes, including diabetes, autoimmune disorders, infections, traumatic injuries, nutritional deficiencies, and exposure to toxins or certain medications.

Regaining Feeling in Her Feet

Terri, one of our patients here at Abundant Health Physical Medicine, sought Dr. Sinan’s help for her neuropathy. She felt she wasn’t totally touching the ground, and had tingling and some leg issues such as cramping.

Since the beginning of her treatment Terri has gained back 75-80% of the feeling in her feet. Perhaps best of all, she’s able to keep up with her grandkids and is still able to garden!

“I highly recommend Dr. Sinan and Abundant Health for those who are interested in keeping their health and vitality going,” she said.

Our Natural Approach

Our neuropathy program focuses on establishing a baseline and improving overall health. We address three key areas: identifying the root causes of neuropathy and pain, implementing specific dietary supplements and nutrition, and addressing electrical abnormalities in nerve function. Our skilled professionals monitor progress and adjust treatment based on clinical results. We also identify and address abnormalities in skeletal alignment and soft tissue function.

After 1-3 months of supervised in-office treatments, patients can transition to long-term self-care with periodic in-clinic follow-ups. We utilize high-quality treatment protocols and therapy tools, and provide ongoing support, exercise training, and physical modalities. We ensure careful monitoring of each patient’s medical conditions.
